Overview
This application is used to create and maintain QA test types and the standard QA tests per type. New tests can be created, and test results are recorded. Test reports can also be printed using this application.
Function
Product Testing: Create a Test
When the application is opened, you will view the following:
This tab allows you to create a test header that contains static info like the Operator Name, Product Actual Width, Humidity, etc.
Click on the button to capture a new test header. The fields in bold are required fields. The ticket picker is filtered based on the ticket type selected. Upon selection of a ticket type, the most used test type for that ticket type will be populated automatically but can be changed.
When you have selected a ticket, the Item Code picker will automatically populate based on the item that is to be produced by the selected production ticket.
The bottom half of the screen will now become enabled to allow the user to enter the rest of the details for the test header.
As the purpose of this document is to detail the process of capturing QA tests while the product does not exist yet, no serial number should be selected.
Product Testing: Detail Results
The button allows you to enter a specific serial number or ticket number instead of selecting the test number using the picker:

Components are created for each step in the QA test.
Test results cannot be amended when results have been captured or when it has already been invoiced.
Tests can be deleted if you have sufficient access rights and if the test has not yet been invoiced.
Input boxes will be displayed as per the setup of each test type. The comment box is optional.
Sales orders and QA tests which were uploaded to the DocVault will automatically link to each other upon confirmation of the picking slip to which the stack is allocated.
Product test certificates of items that has been quarantined through the production receipts application cannot be printed until the roll has been released from the Quarantine store.
Where applicable, QA Test Reports will display means and ranges. The Test Ranges will display the maximum minus the minimum ranges. The Test Means will display the average of all the test results.
Maintenance: Test Types
This tab is used to maintain the various types of tests.
When you select a test in the grid, details of that test will be shown in the fields:
Existing tests can be amended, and new tests can be added.
Maintenance: Standard Tests
The sequence of these tests can be changed by selecting a test and clicking on the and buttons on the right-hand side of the grid.
When you select a test in the grid, it filters to show only data for the specified test type code.
Either a result range or a standard value can be captured to validate the final results against in the report.
