Ore Flow Master File

Overview

This application is used to maintain all master files used throughout the ore flow cycle throughout the ore flow module.

Only certain key people should have access to the Ore Flow Master File application as specific maintenance is required and one change may affect numerous other ore flow processes.

Function

When the application is opened you will be able to view the following screen:

You can select the tab you wish to view or select the applicable radio button.  The button allows you to return to this tab from any of the other tabs.

Throughout the application the , and buttons will enable where applicable.  If an item is in use, you will not be able to delete it as per DeltaERP standards.

Defaults Tab

This tab is currently not in use but is kept for possible future development.

Mine Plans Tab

The mining plans maintained here are used in the Mining Plan application.

There are currently four main plans to choose from:

-Short Term Plan

-Long Term Plan

-Run of Mine Plan

-Plant Plan

Stats Tab

The Stats tab is used for the maintenance of the mining statistics.  The statistics maintained here, are used in the Production Input application.  These statistics are mainly used for safety and the items used to improve the safety of the production environment.

Measures Tab

The measures tab is used to maintain the units in which the product will be measured.  It is usually EACH/grams/KG/%

Price Fix Tab

This is where you maintain prices for the products.  These changes will reflect in the Price Capturing application.

Transport Units Tab

The Transport Units tab is used to set up the units and quantities that each of the different transport modes can move at a time.  This is used to track the quantity of ore moved throughout a certain time in the production process.  Usually measured in tonnes.

Container Types Tab

The Container Types tab is where the different containers for holding the product is set up and maintained.  Images of the different containers can also be uploaded. The containers are used in the Diagram Creator application.

Transport Types Tab

The Transport Types tab is used to maintain the various possible transport types of the product.  Images can also be uploaded here.  Only JPEG and BITMAP image formats are allowed.  This is used in the Diagram Creator application.

Workplace Types Tab

This is developed spaces from where ore is retrieved.  These workplaces are assigned different types.  This information is reflected and used in the workplace maintenance application.

Contractors Tab

This tab is used to maintain the contractors for each section.

Crews Tab

Each crew/fleet has a status.  Only active crews/fleets can be used.  Crews/Fleets can be made active, closed or suspended.  This information is used in the Mining Plan application.  When the plans are set up a crew/fleet is assigned to it.  It is also used in the Production Input application.  An existing mining plan will disable the field in the production input application and the crew/fleet will default to what is set up/selected in the mining plan and cannot be changed.

Month Defaults

The and buttons for this tab is not available.  Existing data can be amended.

This tab allows you to set up the calendar for the ore flow applications.  When applications are opened the calendar will automatically be populated according to this setup.

Require Plan for Input - this option when ticked will force the user to have a plan for input. Information cannot be captured without a plan.

Filter Blocks by Sections - the area is divided into sections which are divided into blocks.

Use Face Map Height - this is ticked when the face mapping results should be used.

Trace - Is used as a measurement to compare laboratory testing with.

Activity Codes

The different activities have activity codes which is set up and maintained in the Activity Code tab.  The status of the activity codes can either be active, suspended or closed.  Only active codes can be used.  Lost Blast Reason Required - Here the user should specify yes or no according to the activity code.

Lost Blast Codes Tab

Each lost blast reason specifies if it requires breakdown machine details.  This is used in the Production Input application.

Reef Package Definition Tab

Before face mapping results (sample data) can be captured, you first need to define the reef package - all the layers contained within the reef where blasting will be done.  This will define all the properties of each layer in order to perform proper sampling for determining the actual product grades contained within a specific reef.  This defined definition is used in Daily Face Mapping, and each working place is linked to a specific reef for use in the sampling process.

Ticket Numbers Tab

Only available when the grade module is used.  Each sample is assigned a ticket number.  A ticket number range is then assigned to a sampler to have them tested and graded.  This is also used in the Face Mapping application.

Conversion Factors

This tab is used to set up and maintain the conversion factors.  There are complex formulas involved.  These conversion factors are then used in the Face Mapping authorization application.

Blasts Since Mapping Email

When >=X bookings without mapping e-mail list of people (X = Blasts: During input user must enter when mapping will be done.  Recipients = email addresses to notify as per blasts.

Activity Allocation Header

This tab is used for the maintenance of the main allocation activities which will be used to plan where each LHD will work for the day and who will operate these machines.

Activity Allocation Detail

This tab is used for the maintenance of the main allocation activities which will be used to plan where each LHD will work for the day and who will operate these machines.
