Overview
This application allows the user to approve or reject the e-Requisition that was assigned to him/her. Various different options are available for this application which are parameter driven and can be very company specific.
When the approver receives an email to notify them that they have approvals pending, the email will also display information such as the escalation reason, relevant status information, etc.
Function
The application can be opened by using the menu or by selecting the 'Workflow approval' icon.

Once the application is opened you will be required to log in with you unique security pin:

You can set and change your pin code in the System Management Module.
Requisitions can be filtered by responsibility or originator.
To see outstanding approvals for a specific responsibility, check the and select the required responsibility using the picker.
To see outstanding approvals for a specific originator, check the and select the required originator using the picker.
You can filter by both responsibility and originator at the same time.
To see all outstanding approvals, leave the filter options unchecked.
A list of outstanding approvals will be displayed.
These will include all requisitions of various types for approval such as EWR, Financial, Assets, etc.
Select the transaction to be approved by Double Clicking on the line or select the line you wish to view and click on the button. When the below screen is opened, you will also be able to view a brief summary regarding applicable escalations and approvals:
Requisition Approvals:
This section will show you the detail of the requisition to be approved. Where applicable, you will be able to view the Average Unit Cost next to the Stock On Hand on the approval screen:
Budget details can also be viewed:
You can approve or reject the requisition using the appropriate radio buttons.
If you are using the translation functionality, you will have to translate the Approve/Reject comment field before continuing. The screen will look as follows:
Reasons have to be supplied of why a requisition is rejected.
A requisition with multiple lines can be approved or rejected using the 'Approval All' or 'Reject All' buttons.
The bottom section of the screen has the following options:
The button allows the approver to view more details relating to the requisition:
You can select over how many months you wish to view the data displayed by selecting the relevant radio button.
The button allows you to view any supporting documentation that has been linked to the requisition.
The button allows you to view any applicable BEE information relating to the supplier:
The button will display all applicable work order details.
The button allows you to put a requisition on hold. A reason for putting it on hold has to be provided.
The button allows you to view the history relating to the requisition:
When approving a stores issue requisition, you will be able to view the item details by clicking on the button found at the bottom right of the approval screen. Keep in mind that this button will only be available when approving a stores issue.

All information must be checked and verified by the approver.
If the Cost Split functionality is used, it can be viewed or amended.
Cost Split is controlled by a parameter called 'ONLINE_REQ_USE_COSTSPLIT'. If it is set to 'Y' , 'Cost Split' functionality will be activated. If an originator captures a requisition, he must indicate how costs will be split between different mines/entities. This cost split will be done as percentages and the total of the cost split must be 100%. This is done for each requisition line for all non-stock and service purchase requisitions.
• tab - allows you to refresh the data in the grid and newly created entries will be displayed.
• tab - shows the historic grid. Select an entry by double clicking on it in order to show the detail enquiry.
•Right click on an entry in order to select the customize grid option. This makes it easy to structure your content.
Note:
•Once you have processed an e-Requisition, it will be moved from your pending screen to your history screen. The same requisition number can be displayed on this screen more than once, depending on the amount of approvers. All steps of approval will be displayed.

The 'Create a copy of product setup' type requests will be opened in the following screen:
Various tabs with relevant information are available for viewing.
The Setup Master tab will have Item specific information, as seen above.
The Setup BOM tab will display the bill of materials for the item.
