Overview
This application allows the user to extract information about a specific item. The user can view:
•Item Search
•Item Information
•Item Balances
•Item Transactions
•Consumption
•Supplier Part Info
•Issues & Orders
•Where Used
•PM Used
•Image
The ability to be able to view non-stock items that are linked to a service contract, will be regulated by access levels.
Only access level 3 (OTHER) will be able to view the above.
This application also allows for restricted viewing access which can be maintained using the Profile Maintenance application.
Function
To extract information on an item start in the Item Search Tab.
Item Search Tab
There are two ways to search an item:
1.Use the picker in the Item Code field and select the item.
2.Use the search criteria fields to enter properties of the item to search on.
After selecting the criteria select the 'Get Data' button to generate the information.
To view the item uploaded to the doc vault, click on the button.
Item Information Tab
This tab allows the user to view the general information about the item.
To print the information select the 'Print' button. The print preview will appear.
Select print from the preview.
Balances Tab
This tab shows the following information by store:
•Bin - Bin code of where the item is located.
•Alt Bin - This is the alternate bin code of the selected item.
•Min Level - the minimum level of the item that should be in stock.
•Max Level - the maximum level of the item that can be in stock.
•Soh - current stock on hand.
•Val - the stock on hand value.
•Alloc - how many of the selected item has been allocated.
•Picked - how many of the selected item has been picked from the store.
•On Order - the quantity on order.
•Freight In Transit - the quantity in transit.
•Free - quantity which is available.
•Parameter driven functionality is available to also show the debtor against which a stack is reserved as well as show a bobbin/cone count.
Transactions Tab
This tab allows the user to view all transactions for the item.
Transactions can be viewed for selected periods, just check the selection box in the Run For box and the Store Code using the drop down arrow.
To print the information select the 'Print' button. The column selection screen will appear.
To select the columns for printing click on the selection box, a tick will appear in the box to unselect the box click on the tick and it will be removed.
To select all the columns click the 'Select All' button, to unselect all the columns click the 'Unselect All' button.
Select to generate the print preview.
Select print from the preview.
Consumption Tab
This tab shows the consumption of the item using a graph.
To print the information select the button, the print preview will appear select print from the preview.
Supplier Part Info Tab
This tab shows the item information according to the suppliers records. If the item does not have supplier information linked to it then the system will display .
To print the information select the button, the column selection screen will appear.
To select the columns for print, click on the selection box, a tick will appear in the box to unselect the box click on the tick and it will be removed.
To select all the columns click the 'Select All' button, to unselect all columns click the 'Unselect All' button.
Select 'Ok' to generate the print preview.
Select print from the preview.
Issues And Order Tab
This tab shows all orders made for the item and order placed. If there are no records then the system will display .
You can filter this data using the radio buttons at the bottom of the screen:

Orders:
Adjustments:
Transfers:
SIT:
This option shows all stock in transit where applicable. If there are no data, the following will be displayed:

To filter out the lines you want to view from all the generated lines, select the 'Filter' button. The filter screen will appear.
Select the filter criteria and select . Only the lines which match the filtering criteria will appear in the display grid.
To print the information select the 'Print' button. The column selection screen will appear.

To select all the columns click the 'Select All' button, to unselect all columns click the 'Unselect All' button.
Select to generate the print preview.

Where Used Tab
This tab shows where on the mine the item is used.
PM Used Tab
This tab shows the PM schedule used for the item.
Image Tab
This tab shows a picture of the item.
This item does not have a loaded picture.
