Overview
The function of this application is to capture receipts of Raw Material from suppliers. The receipts can either be from a purchase order raised of for consignment items. A third option to do Production returns is also available.
Function
Upon opening the application, select the relevant receipt option from the three radio buttons and click on the button.
Purchase Order: After clicking on the button, the fields will enable. Select the purchase order you want to receive goods for from the picker. The order quantity, previous delivered and received quantity (if any) and outstanding quantity for the order will show on the right. Fill in the required fields and click on the button.
If example, 2 pallets were specified in the first screen, no more than 2 lines will be accepted by the application. The following message will appear:
If the cumulative receipt captured on the detail dialog does not correspond with the total mass entered on the main screen, the user will receive the following message:
The user then needs to select the incorrect line, update the pallet mass field and click on the update button.
When the cumulative mass agrees with the total mass, select 'Done' and the GRV will be posted. The following confirmation message with the document number will be displayed and a barcode label will print:
Consignment: The process is exactly the same as described for purchase orders.
Production Return: This options allows the user to receive back any unused raw material that has been issued against a ticket.
Select all the fields and follow the process basically as described for the other 2 options.
All tickets will appear in the picker, but only tickets that had raw material issued will have data in the item picker.
Once completed a binning notification report will be printed:
The button reprints labels for previous GRV's by selecting the line from the grid.
Every time a batch of labels are printed, a barcoded receipt (GRV) document will be printed as well.
In some cases each bag on a pallet is barcoded. In this case a barcode label will be generated for each bag.
