Product Grades and Price Maintenance

Overview

 

This application allows the user to set up and maintain the product grades.  Each product can have many different type of grades.  For example: High or low quality diamonds.  Invoices will be made against the grade of the product.

 

Function

 

New Grade:

 

Click on the button.

 

Fill in the grade detail.

 

The 'Default VAT included' field determines if VAT must be included by default for invoices on this grade.

 

The 'Terms and Conditions' field can be customized per product and will be the same for all grades of the product.  The Terms and Conditions will be printed on the invoice.

Click on the button to save the new grade.

 

The 'Pricing' Tab is where you set up each debtors' own set of prices per product grade.

Product prices for each grade must be captured for a Debtor to allow invoicing against the debtor.

 

 

New Price:

 

Select a Debtor using the 'Debtor Code' picker.

Click the button.

 

Fill in the pricing detail.

 

"Premium/Discount Value" - Product Value discount amount (Subtracted from unit cost)

 

"Premium/Discount Factor" - Product Value discount amount by percentage

 

"Freight Amount"        - Treatment costs (VAT Exclusive. Needs a treatment control account to be set up for use)

 

"Value per Carat"        - Unit cost for the product grade

Click on the button to save the new price.

 

Set Payment Terms - The payment terms will be the same for all invoices to the debtor (Printed on the invoice).  Changing the payment terms will update the Delta Debtor Master with the new terms.

 

 

Amend Price:

 

Select a debtor using the 'Debtor Code' picker.

 

Double-click an existing price in the grid to load the details for that price.

Click on the button.

 

Make the changes required.

Click on the button to save the changes.
