Overview
The Depreciation method and Useful life may be changed under this application. Should the user want to change both DM and UL, the DM must first be changed then the UL.
Function
Changing the DM/UL
Select the following:
•Change - select the option to change
•Fixed Asset - select the fixed asset to change the DM/UL for using the picker
•Effective Period - select the period that the transactions must be changed from, using the picker
•Posting period - this is the date the transactions are posted to general ledger, select this date using the picker
•New Depreciation Method - select the new depreciation method using the picker
Select the 
button to post the changes. The system will prompt the following message to confirm if the user would like to continue. Select 
to continue.
The following Journal screen will be opened:
The information can be exported to a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet using the 
button.
Click on the 
button.
The next message will confirm the changes saved and if the user would like to print the journals. Select 
to print.
