Overview
A handheld barcode scanner application was developed, that downloads and uploads data to and from a SQL Server. The data is saved locally on the scanner. The scanner is then used to scan Assets per selected Location, a condition also needs to be selected stating the current condition of the Asset. The results are uploaded to the SQL Server and will go to this program, Verify Assets, for processing and reporting. (Only access level 3 will be able to see the Processing tab.)
This application also allows the user to generate a report of either the assets not verified, verified assets or scan transactions of a certain range.
Function
Uploaded Data
Select the asset type, Processed, Unprocessed or both.
Select the range of either 30 days or All.
Reports
•Select the type of report you would like to generate, the assets not verified, the verified assets or the scan transactions.
•Select the date range by clicking on the picker.
•Select the name of the location.
•Select the asset name.
Once you have completed the search criteria, click on Print and the report will be generated for the report option selected.
