Overview

 

The flex budget introduces target based budgeting, a detailed bill of materials per measurement unit is compiled for each production method. This is budgeting based on production targets. Budgets which have been Archived will not be adjustable.

 

Function

 

Every tab's information has to be saved separately.  So changes need to be saved or canceled before moving on to the next tab.

 

Header

 

Click on the button to capture a new flex budget.

 

 

•Period - select the date by clicking on the picker and selecting the date from the calender provided.

•Cost center - select the cost center name by clicking on the picker.

•Responsibility Code - select the employee position whom is responsible.

•Type code - select the mining type by clicking on the picker.

•Method code - select the mining method by clicking on the picker.

•Target production units - enter in the number of units you wish to target.

•Comment - enter in any form of commentary with regards to this budget.

 

Detail

 

 

•Period - select the date by clicking on the picker and selecting the date from the calender provided.

•Cost Center - select the cost center name by clicking on the picker.

•Responsibility Code - select the employee position whom is responsible.

•Type Code - select the mining type by clicking on the picker.

•Method Code - select the mining method by clicking on the picker.

•BOM Quantity - enter in the quantity of the bill of materials.

•Method Value - the value of the unit.

•Total Value - the BOM quantity multiplied by the value of the unit .

•Comment -  enter in any form of commentary with regards to this budget.

 

BOM Details

 

The BOM Details tab defines the method description as well as the value.

 

 

By double clicking on the method, the method chosen will appear in the following grid:

 

 

Import

 

The button is used to export a budget to a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.

 

Click on the button to import a budget.

 

 

Select the type of file you would like to import.

 

 

Click on once selected.

You will be required to select the file for import from your computer.

 

A validation check will be applied to the imported data to ensure that the data is correct and valid.  

 

Click the button to save.
