Overview
The function of the Daily Face Mapping application is to capture the face mapping result, also called sampling data, for when the sampling was done for a specific workplace and date.
Function
Once you have opened the application, you will be able to view the details of the 'Header' Tab.
Select the 'Work Place' and 'Sheet No.' using the .
When you have selected the required information the detail will automatically be populated.
Updates and amendments
Click on the button to make any changes to the existing data. Note: Face length and interval cannot be changed.
Click the button to continue amending. The detail that cannot be changed will be disabled for editing.
Once you have made all the changes, click on the button to save.
New Face Mapping data:
Click on the button. The 'Date' field updates to the current date, and the 'Sheet No.' field is automatically populated.
Select the applicable 'Work Place' using the picker.
Select the applicable 'Observer' using the picker.
Type in the 'Mine Overseer', 'Shiftboss' and 'Miner' details.
Select a 'Panel Status' using the radio buttons.
The Peg ID is also selected by means of a picker.
Click on the to enter the peg detail:
When a face is mapped, a peg is used to determine the distance to the face (where mapping occurs). Each peg has unique coordinates that never change. This screen allows you to capture the peg details as required:
Enter the 'Distance to face (m)', 'Face Length (m)' and 'Number of Sections'
When selecting a 'Reef Type' you will have the following options:
Geological Disturbance can also be selected using the picker.
The button allows you to define the different sections of the area:
Enter the 'Geology Remarks', 'Manager Remarks' and 'Mine Overseer Remarks'
The tick boxes for 'Received by Shiftboss' and 'Received by Miner' will enable the corresponding dates which can then be edited.
Once all information has been captured click on the button to save.
Other application functions:
You can delete entries by clicking on the button.
By clicking on the button, you will be able to assign tickets used for sampling and mapping. If no more ticket numbers may be assigned to a specific sheet you will receive the following warning message:
If a ticket number can still be assigned, you will receive the following screen:
Values may not be removed if there are tickets linked to them.
The button allows you to print a sampling report:
When you click on the button, you can add pictures as needed:
When you click on the button you will be able to generate a Stope/Development Daily Report:
