Cost Drill Down

Overview

 

This application allows the user to view cost drill downs of various items.

If you are using the translation functionality, descriptions and comments will be translated to your selected language.

 

This application allows for restricted viewing access, which can be maintained using the Profile Maintenance application.

 

Function

 

When the application is opened you will have the following options:

 

 

Select a drill down option and a Period using the period picker.

 

Click on the button to drill down.

 

 

You will now be able to view division information in the grid as well as a tree view on the left.

 

When you double click on a line you will be able to view the next level for that line.  Click on the button to return to the previous level.

 

 

Alternatively open the drill down tree and double click on a heading to open.

 

 

When the last level has been reached, to view more detail about that level, double click on the line. The following transaction screen will appear where the user can select the option allowed to view:

 

Year to date - view costs for the year to date

Month to date Date - view monthly cost to date

Commitments  - view commitment costs

 

 

When you select the Chart tab you will be able to view a pie chart relating to the information selected in the previous tab.

 

 

Each heading is represented by a colour in the pie graph. Each colour is labeled with the title and cost totals\percentages.

 

There are various options to view the costs as:

 

Month Actual - shows the actual figures for month to date.

Month Budget - shows the budgeted figures for month to date.

Month Percentage - shows the figures as a percentage.

Year Actual - shows the actual figures for year to date.

Year Budget - shows the budgeted figures for year to date.

Year Percentage - shows the figures as a percentage.

 

The user also has the option to view the figures as either a value or a percentage.

 

When you click on the button you will have the option to specify which columns you wish to print:
